Sorry I haven't been online much but I have trouble sitting up for more than a few minutes.I hope everyone is doing great.I'm not going to rant today just try and explain a couple of things.
#1.For the people that flamed me about the post asking why we give Israel 4 billion dollars a year?When you insult me use words I can understand.Some of the comments I almost wore out my dictionary trying to find out what I was being called but I'm NOT A RACIST.My question was mostly about why we give money to one of the richest countries in the world and have people sleeping in the streets and eating out of dumpsters in this country.
#2.In my post about my birthday I mentioned some photo's that were sent to me as a birthday gift and I was flamed because I said one of them was an "erotic" photo.I was reminded that "those" kind of photos are demeaning to women,ect,etc.I could have stopped all that by just posting the photo but I don't share the photos people send to me in private messages.The photo was erotic because of who she was and the fact that she took the time to take the photo with her picture/phone just for me.OK so I lied I did rant.
I had some questions about my health and I am doing better according to my Dr. the pain is worse but the last MRI is better.This hot weather the not good for me.It was 109 here yesterday and at midnight last night it was still 99 degrees so I stay in my little room.
Last is I read that according to the 2004 census 1/4 of the people in the United States are in one adult households.WHY? I'm alone because I have nothing to offer a woman but why are the rest of the people?Just another question to get me flamed.Play nice,Mike

I came over to respond to the rest of your post, which I failed to do the last time I was here!
First I want to say that I'm sorry you were slammed, as I put it, because others disagreed with you. I often disagree but I see no reason to belittle anyone by name calling or blatant disrespect.
I have NO idea who flamed you, it's just what I read from your post.
I'd like to address the issues you shared in this post:
#1 I feel our monies misrepresent what our country is supposed to stand for. I agree with helping and I also agree that charity begins in the home. And although we are all ONE in this world and I have always strongly felt that way, I am disgusted when I see a health care program shot down for no other reason than it would take from the rich and give to the poor.
This...DISGUSTS me and always has about the leadership, the lack of prioritizing in this country.
The federal programs for the poor, for the under priviledged, has been cut so many times that their names are a distant memory!
#2 I know nothing of any photos and I don't get involved on Blogstream or anywhere for that matter in gossip, in anyone's business. If I have an issue with someone, I will go directly to that person, not around them and deal with it the best I know how.
I noticed a few posts were removed, sometimes better left up for those to reflect back on as they may realize better/different words could have been chosen. But, that is your business and RIGHT as it is your blog. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.
I will share one last thing with you: when I first came to blogstream there were a number of folks that, when disagreed with, became defensive and sarcastic...even extremely RUDE!!!
I stay away from these blogs as blogging is supposed to be writing not only feelings but articles of interest, many different things that draw others to communicate and one can only learn from this type of interaction. I know that "I" have and learned some things about myself. Not all flattering but just the same, I am grateful for others honesty!!
I like your Blog and would enjoy reading more of your views. I understand about being DOWN and OUT and it's no fun to be in pain...of any kind.
